Emily is an experienced mixed-methods researcher, program evaluator, and project manager.
Emily's experience planning and optimizing health communication and social marketing efforts spans a range of health domains, including tobacco cessation, type 2 diabetes prevention, and cancer care delivery. Her clients include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Institutes of Health, and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Previously, Emily was a research and evaluation manager of social marketing at ICF where she led health communication projects spanning a range of topics. She spent many years focused on digital health (mHealth) research and evaluation for the National Cancer Institute’s Smokefree.gov Initiative for tobacco cessation. Prior to ICF, Emily was a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) Fellow at the National Cancer Institute.
