Megha is a senior research director specializing in large-scale phone and multi-mode surveys.

Megha is a senior research director in the Public Health department at NORC at the University of Chicago. She has over 13 years of experience in both large and small-scale data collection with expertise in telephone and multimode survey methods. Megha works extensively with state and federal clients, as well as state and local Immunization Information Systems (IISs), with a goal of better understanding and improving upon ongoing public health issues.

Megha currently serves as the Associate Project Director of the National Immunization Survey (NIS), funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which provides ongoing surveillance of immunization coverage for children and teenagers in the U.S. via one of largest RDD surveys. She also directs the National Immunization Survey - Immunization Information Systems (NIS-IIS) research projects aimed at evaluating and utilizing data from State and Local Area Immunization Registries in conjunction with NIS data. Megha works directly with awardees to establish Data Use Agreements and data exchange protocols while ensuring data security and confidentiality expectations are upheld.

In addition to her NIS work, she has most recently directed a survey assessing stigma around opioid use disorder among healthcare providers and dentists and managed the Delaware COVID-19 Contact Tracing effort to support the Delaware Department of Public Health’s response to the pandemic.
