Will studies the effectiveness of educational policies and programs while working on customizing equity resources and tools. Using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, Will provides insight on the impact structures, programs, and curriculum have on society.
Will serves as the data collection and research task lead for multiple studies and projects. This includes a project to investigate the effectiveness of the Generation Citizen civics curriculum among high school students, and the Engaging Youth for Positive Change Program Evaluation, which explored the impact of a civic engagement program in rural communities.
Prior to joining NORC, his research focused on post-colonialism and internalized racism, exploring its formation and how it manifests. Will also spent several years as a civics and sociology teacher at a Title I high school in North Carolina.
