COVID-19 Longitudinal Survey
NORC at the University of Chicago has teamed with the University of Chicago Booth School of Management to learn more about the economic, social, and behavioral impacts of COVID-19 and gain a deeper understanding of how the outbreak has impacted policy attitudes.
Policymakers and the American people need accurate, up-to-date information to respond to this rapidly changing environment. However, delivering quick, high-quality data is an ongoing challenge for researchers.
NORC’s AmeriSpeak® Panel combines the nimbleness of a panel solution with the scientific rigor of a probability-based sample, solving the challenge of providing accurate and representative information quickly. Additionally, the experienced research team at NORC is working as a thought partner to ensure that the questionnaire design and fielding methodology are optimized to meet this study’s research goals.
The COVID-19 Longitudinal Survey provides near-real-time data about Americans’ policy expectations, behaviors, and financial and emotional well-being in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak. Although only early results are available at this time, researchers are already gaining valuable insights into how different segments of the population are being impacted by social distancing measures.
