Jennifer Hanis-Martin

Jennifer has experience managing large data sets and communicating scientific findings.

Jennifer is a member of the management team for the National Institute on Aging’s National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project (NSHAP), a longitudinal population-based study of health and social factors among older adults in the United States. Jennifer acts as NSHAP’s Director of Communications, developing and distributing information materials about the publicly available NSHAP dataset to interested researchers, and communicating project findings to diverse audiences. She is Co-Director of NSHAP data management and access. She additionally provides project management, writing and editorial support to the project.

Prior to joining the NSHAP team, Jennifer worked with the Center for Advancing Research and Communication in STEM, funded by the National Science Foundation.
