Megan is passionate about research infrastructure and innovation.

Megan is a senior research director in the Health Care Programs department at NORC at the University of Chicago. She is currently an Associate Project Director for the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey overseeing the data processing, and data delivery team and the Program Data Management Team Lead for the All of Us Participant and Partner Service Center.

As the Program Data Management Team Lead for the All of Us Participant and Partner Service Center, Megan is responsible for the migration, centralization, and modernization of operational data. Key to this effort, she is bringing her experience in monitoring, reporting, and workflow automation to increase data driven decision making.

As the Associate Project Director for all aspects of MCBS data processing and data delivery, including data structure management, real time data review and monitoring, questionnaire preload development, post-round data processing, and data delivery. Stead collaborates with other MCBS senior managers and the client on efforts to improve data relevance and usability, including redesign of prescription medicine collection, home health and health insurance data collection and removal of outdated or poor performing questionnaire sections. She has led efforts to enhance data quality, increase monitoring and reporting, and improve efficiency and timelines, including the redesign of preload processing, the cross-team synchronization of round startup activities, the introduction of in-round data review, and streamlined all annual data products.

Megan came to NORC with seven years of experience successfully managing large, multi-mode, health-related tracking surveys for corporate clients. Her experience extends to brand tracking, market share measurement, customer satisfaction, and healthcare usage.
