Petry S. Ubri
Petry has over a decade of experience leading and conducting qualitative and mixed methods research, program evaluation, and policy analysis. She has extensive experience using participatory research and evaluation approaches to engage individuals and community-based organizations in research and evaluation.
She supports a project assessing and analyzing state availability, delivery, and provision of Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit services for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. She serves as senior advisor on a project that uses community-engaged research approaches to assess Minnesota’s initial home and community-based services (HCBS) assessment process for the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), projects that use participatory approaches to understand the impact of casino gambling and sports betting in Massachusetts for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC), and to support the Morehouse School of Medicine’s National Center for Primary Care with an evaluation its Network for Community-engaged Primary Care Research (NCPCR).
Petry also worked as a policy analyst at the Kaiser Family Foundation's Program for Medicaid and the Uninsured. In this capacity, she conducted policy analysis and developed policy briefs, fact sheets, and infographics.
