Megan is a senior research scientist at NORC where she develops and implements policy analysis related to alternative payment models. She is a Task Lead on Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) supporting the review of physician-focused payment model proposals.
Prior to joining NORC, Megan was at the Robert Graham Center, a primary care research center. While at the Graham Center, Coffman led research studies on a variety of topics from telehealth and care management to workforce and medical education studies. Coffman established a female focused research portfolio at the Graham Center to study questions related to gender pay disparities, quality of care, and publication differences in the Family Medicine literature.
Megan served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and in Mali.
